Welcome to The Behavior Textbook’s Feeling Cards! This application works in conjunction with the use of the first multimedia curriculum ever developed for individuals with special needs: The Behavior Textbook (TBT), which is available on the iTunes Bookstore. This comprehensive curriculum is focused for individuals with special needs and aims to improve emotions and regulatory skills.

Feeling Cards features four video modeling calming poses and over 75 emotion photographs. These poses include: gross motor imitation skills as well as other movements developed to calm the body. The feeling/emotion cards include basic emotions such as angry, sad, and mad, and also explore more complex ones such as confusion and boredom.

Within the Emotion Photos portion of the application, users can add photos to their library and print to assist in building comprehension of basic feelings. In addition, there are photos from social narratives and other content used in The Behavior Textbook (TBT).

Developed for both parents and educators, The Behavior Textbook is focused on building the identification of emotions and instilling coping skills. TBT was written by School Psychologist, Bill Thompson, M.A., who is a recognized educator in the area of special education. Whether the student has autism or other communicative challenges, TBT is a captivating way to take learning to a new level.
